Fast enough, the third month came around. Training went fast too, maybe a little too much... But I thought it was good!
During this third month I worked on picking up his front feet, he genuinly was awsome about this.
I also desensitized him to the surcingle, more of the saddle pad, and put his first saddle on his back. As you can see in the picture bellow, it wasn't really smooth in the beginning...
However, even though we were able to accomplish a few things, every training session felt tense. I was always expecting his huge reactions, constantly on guard to move away if he were to jump in my direction. He was getting anxious, the training was going too fast for him and he couldn't make sense of it.
But I had set my goal. I wanted to train him as fast as I could so I could sell him soon. I was getting stressed about my timeline and could only think of my one goal...
