I am now offering private lessons, completely customized for you and your horse. I will be teaching YOU how to train your own horse at LIBERTY!

My Philosophy

In my training, I like when everything comes from the horse. A good way to do this is training at liberty, meaning leaving the horse the choice to participate. This will boost your horse's confidence and improve greatly your relationship!

I also do what I call ''Useful Trick Training'' which is turning everyday life tasks (such as haltering, taking the bit, parking at mounting block, trailer loading, etc...) into fun tricks that your horse will always be eager to accomplish!

Where can we train?

Have me come to you

I can travel to your place to give you lessons in your horse's familiar environment. If you are at a boarding barn, I strongly recommend getting together with other students to do a full lesson day of private lessons back to back to save on travelling fees.

What kind of training space?

For liberty training, we don't need anything fancy! An arena is great, but if you don't have one, your horse's paddock will do the job. You only want to limit distractions such as grass or other horses in the same paddock.

Welshtown Crossroad Stables is located at 10 minutes from my place. They have a beautiful indoor arena that you can rent for 15$/hour.

Don't have a horse?

If you don't have a horse but would still like to learn how to train and work at liberty, I can offer lessons with my own horses at my place in Shelburne.
